The 24Option.com mobile trading offers an impressive trading experience. 24Option.com offers the binary options trading app for iOS (iPad/iPhone) and Andriod OS smart phones via Google Play. Although there is no stand-alone app for Windows Mobile OS, 24Option.com makes up for it by offering a mobile web login interface which emulates the same features and options as if you were accessing the trading platform directly from the app.
The mobile trading features allows for full access to the different types of binary options trading available at 24Option.com. It is easy to place new binary options trades as well as check any of the open trades along with the option to close them before expiry, where applicable. Navigation is very simple and intuitive and the ‘Home’ screen is just a click away with the ‘Home’ icon always present on the top right corner of the screen.
The account balance is also prominently displayed, showing you the amount available in your 24Option.com trading account on the top right corner from the home screen. Once you navigate to the options section, the only way to know your balance is by clicking on the ‘Home’ screen.
Depending on the device/app you are using, navigation may differ. But overall, navigating between different sections within the app is as simple as tapping the top right menu drop down or just following the icons on the screen.
24Option Mobile Trading – Features worth a mention
For any of the open trades, simply clicking on the trade opens up the trade details such as the order number, type of option that was selected, the time at which the option was purchased, the invested amount and the expected returns (if the trade ends up in-the-money).
BinaryMobs find this feature to be very addictive! Besides the above information, there is a line chart as well which plots the instrument’s price as the option nears its expiry time. The chart although very basic, gives a visual representation of the instrument’s price action and changes colors; Green when your option is in the money and Red, when your option is out of the money. The chart seems to adapt well to different screen resolutions.
In the 24Option mobile app, it is easy to make multiple trades within the instrument as well as choosing different expiry times. The ensuing P/L of the binary options contracts are displayed on screen, within a small bubble which turns Red or Green, depending on where your contract price is relative to the market price.
24Option Mobile Trading – Features that are lacking
On Mobile Browsers: There is no option to check on trade history, which we at Binarymobs.com think is essential for a trader to look back on their trade history. We also found that when viewing the ‘Open Trades’ section, there is no real time update on the trade result. In other words, there is no confirmation with the only exception of the chart color turning Red or Green. It would be nice to have a feature where the trade is updated to show the result, including the amount won or lost.
On Apps: Only Short Term and Regular option expiries are available at the time of writing. On iPad, 24Option.com mobile trading app works only in portrait mode, which can be a bit of inconvenience to those trading from the iPad.
Instrument/Asset Navigation: Navigating the asset lists can be a bit of a hassle and can prove to be a pain point, especially if you are in a hurry. While testing, BinaryMobs felt it was a bit cumbersome to have to scroll through the instrument list, which is not listed alphabetically.
Binarymobs.com – 24Option Mobile App Review
Established in early 2012, 24Option.com has been one of the front runners when it comes to binary options trading; having won quite a few awards, including the ‘best binary options broker’ 2013 forexmagnates awards. The binary options brand, 24Option.com is managed by Rodeler ltd and is regulated by CySec, the financial regulatory authority in Cyprus as an EU investment firm and is available in over 16 different languages.
Over all, we find the binary options mobile app from 24Option.com to be fairly easy to use and navigate the sections. The learning curve is simple. Although there are some features such as banking options or trade history features, asset list sorting that are missing, we find that the current set of features are more than enough to serve the purpose of mobile trading, which is to be able to access the right options type for the right instrument.
The idea of providing a mobile browser URL makes it possible for any trader with a smart phone or a phone with a good enough screen size to access and trade with 24Option.com. Although the mobile browser access might have different features, we at Binarymobs.com believe this to be one of the smartest choices from 24Option.com
